NEW PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SNOW EVENTS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2012 The following is an excerpt from Ordinance No. 2011-09 PROHIBITED CONDUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH NJSA 39:4-197: A. When snowfall covers the streets then:
B. The parked side of a vehicle shall be less than four (4) inches from the edge and/or curb of the street. C. No person shall use any method to reserve a parking area to maintain a parking spot. D. No owner, tenant or occupant of any premises, abutting any street, nor any person working on behalf of any owner, tenant or occupant, shall throw, place or deposit any snow or ice upon the public street. PENALTIES; (1) �First Offense = $250.00 (2) �Second Offense - $500.00 (3) �Third Offense = $1,000.00 and the vehicle, if towed, shall not be released until all penalties have been extinguished. |
